As part of my Preliminary Work I created the cover for a Vinyl Disk along with a short music video for the artist on the Disk , Bill Withers. I took inspiration from many other disks but also from the video itself. I wanted the artist to have a whole aestethic that repsents him. Such as the yellow flower and the green backround. Both these elements also appear in the actual music video.
In order to create this i used Lightroom to edit the photo and color correct it and also Illustrator. Using illustrator was especially difficult for me because i never used the platform before and it has a quite difficult interface. I tried to recreate the cover as it was produced thede days. So with a modern approach.
