At first we have a close up a of a boy who has his cheek bruised and looks all confused while the credits are shown on top of the image, then we have an image of a young man who is rolling black bandages on his fists while he is sitting down on a bench that looks like it belongs to a gym.
The young man is dressed very sporty and athletic while the mise-en scenes is composed by a set that looks like a boxing gym and the hight is very dark and cold that connotes coldness and anger.
While credits keep on rolling down we are shown multiple images: the first one is the same young man wearing boxing shorts on a boxing ring , his facial expression and body language show us pain and frustration. In the second image we see a two shot with the same young man and an older man standing in front of each other looking like they have an argument, the mise-en scene in that image looks like a wall with many pictures and the lighting is really warm and welcoming even though they are arguing.
While the pictures are shown on the screen, on top of them we have the names of the directors, starring actors, production company
We also see a two shot of the two men training in a boxing gym that has many news papers on the walls while the bath characters look happy and like they enjoy training with each other.
In the next image we see our young man in a ring with other man looking like they are about to fight a very important boxing match , their body language shows that there is clearly tension in the air.
Throughout the movie we see the main characters life go on, he falls in love, trains, fight. This makes us pay attention to the story and the beauty of his evolution in spite of all the chalenges he has been trough,it is a story of succes, triumph and love.
In the last scene in the movie opening we see the title really grand on top of a black screen,it just adds a beautiful dramatic effect.
American Hustle
The movie opening starts with the phrase “some of this actually happened” which means that some of the things in the movie are based on real events but also some might be a little exaggerated.
One of the first shots is the production company that is called "Annapurna"and troughout the film opening the companies that produced the movie and and the studio name are shown on top of the video or image.
At first we have an mid-shot who shows us a man who is grooming himself in the mirror. Glueing his wig and buttoning his yellow striped shirt this connotes that even tough the man is clearly wealthy he is trying too hard to hide the fact that he is aging, that's why troughout the entire movie it can be seen that his behaviour doesen't match his age.
The lighting is very realistic and also the mise-en scene makes us see that the man in front of the mirror is a wealthy man who is taking care of his image after a long night of partying maybe. We can see that the hotel room is very luxurious and clean , that means that the characters involved in this movie opening have a high social status and they are also wealthy.
Just the way he glues his wig to his head makes the film opening eye-catching and it adds just the right comedic touch the glamorous setting.
As a beautiful woman enters there room we have a two shot and a over the shoulder shot and a dolly movement that follows the action , from her behaviour it can be seen that she also is very confident and of a higher social ranking.
To see clearly that a conflict is created we also have a sequence shot that shows us the conversation between the characters and their body language. At the end of the movie opening we have scene where that main characters wig falls of which add also a note of irny to the whole scene. This movie opening matches the movie very well because it prepares the . audience for the plot of the movies which not only involves a lot of acion but also quite a lot of comedy.
Skyfall
The action movie starts with an image with 007 falling in water dramatically, it’s filmed from a low point below the water
At some point a big hand that was added with cgi appears in the frame who drags him way lower in the water. Troughout the movie opening on the image there are presented the actors,the producers,production company,studio and many more.
James Bond enteres a sink hole at the bottom of the ocean and after that we are shown a bunch of symbols of his life so far and lots of blood and violent signs.

Also an establishing shot where we seen 007 and where he is located.
The whole intro is made with cgi and special effects that look mesmerising and give it a very dramatic and fantasy looking effect.
The lighting is really dark and cold which simbolises sadness and mystery.
The guns and the cemetery and the blood symbolize the fall of James Bond.
We also see lots of fire , red smoke and other spectacular effects that only add more to the enigma of James Bond and what is about to happen next.
The female body is represented as a sign of desire and also of weakness in the movie opening while it is beatifuly represented at the same time.
The whole meaning of this movie opening is to create a dramatic and spectacular moment around the images that are presented and around the editing and the special effects.
